Paper decorating my dorm room

This is what my dorm room looks like right now. I hope to decorate it with paper decor and my drawings later on. I saw a picture of paper butter flys and they look so real and awesome that I had to use it. I used some colorful pamphlet, magazine, flyers I have in hand and fold them in half and then cut into butterfly shape. I didn't know what the crafter used but I made do with the tape I had. And stick it on!

My walls look so bare right now. I want to do something about... Which I did and used command 3m to stick a dry erase, I forgot to take off the staple package of 3m that came with the board off. It was sticky, so sticky that it ripe the paint off the wall. I haven't live in my dorm for 5 hours and I did damage. There was a big piece that I could save and tape it back on but the other small piece crumbled... And the command ad. that wouldn't happen...
